Founded by Ditmar Marlin, Marlin Productions is a Dutch film and television production company dedicated to transforming creative visions into cinematic reality. As the production branch behind several independent projects, the company specializes in building partnerships, coordinating funding, and managing the full realization of films and series, from concept to completion.

Marlin Productions works in close collaboration with BLACK SKELETON CAT Pictures, a creative collective founded by Ignjat Miletic, with Ditmar Marlin and Frank Valies as key creative partners. The collective serves as a hub for original storytelling, where filmmakers combine experience, vision, and authenticity to develop distinctive projects under one creative label.

Their current collaboration, Bezorgd, was developed by Marlin and Miletic, with Miletic serving as head writer and Marlin contributing as additional writer and producer. The series embodies their shared belief in raw, honest storytelling, connecting personal truth with universal human experience.

The identity of Marlin Productions is deeply rooted in its name and symbol. Its emblem, a Marlin fish intertwined with a Marlin rifle, reflects the dual essence of the company: exploration and creation. The fish’s nose transforms into the barrel of a rifle, merging motion and precision into one purposeful design.
